Garage Trim Paint Restoration in Springfield, MO
From Premature Paint Failure to a Finish Built to Last
A long-time window cleaning client contacted us with concerns about the paint on their garage trim. The home was relatively new, but sections of the trim were already showing signs of premature paint failure.
After a closer inspection, we discovered that portions of the trim had originally been left as exposed raw lumber. Once the issue was addressed, the trim was painted; however, the existing coating showed indications of inadequate surface preparation and lacked the proper foundation needed for long-term durability.
As a result, the paint was beginning to peel and fail much sooner than expected, leaving the homeowner frustrated and concerned about protecting the underlying wood from further weather exposure.
That's where we stepped in.

Attic Fan Repair in Springfield, MO
Bringing an Attic Fan Back to Life
One of our long-time window cleaning clients had been dealing with a noisy attic fan for years. The fan would squeal loudly whenever it operated, and despite multiple attempts to find a contractor willing to take on the repair, no one was interested in the job.
Eventually, the homeowner simply stopped using the fan altogether.
When we began offering home repair and maintenance services, this was one of the first projects we were asked to investigate. During our inspection, we discovered that years of operation with failing bearings had caused them to seize completely. As the bearings deteriorated, they wore away portions of the fan shaft, rendering an attic ventilation system worth hundreds of dollars effectively unusable.
Rather than recommending a complete replacement, we carefully evaluated the available options, sourced high-quality replacement components, cleaned and restored the existing assembly, and rebuilt the system using proven repair methods.
After reassembly and testing, the attic fan was operating smoothly once again—quiet, reliable, and performing as intended. By focusing on diagnosis and repair rather than immediate replacement, we were able to restore the system's functionality while helping the homeowner avoid the expense of purchasing a new attic fan.
